Dats Comics
Shadow Tales is about three ADHD squirrels who become special agents to break animals out of a zoo. They battle against the “keeper” and his army of Canadian geese. The book is a throwback to Saturday morning cartoons with a message that ADHD is a superpower. Shadow Tales is an all-ages, kid-friendly book that really has a focus on fun and adventure.
Rick Overwater
Rick Overwater is a longtime Calgary-based comic creator and fiction author.
Rick holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and studied graphic novel writing under critically acclaimed graphic novelist Sarah Leavitt. A certified writing instructor, Rick also hosts panels and info sessions on indie comic making.
Tongue in Cheek Comics
I put out comic books which are written and printed by myself and illustrated by different (mostly Canadian) creators. All comics are self published and feature original characters (plus a few free domain characters) and original content.
Some of these comics can be found on my website. Two of the books at my table will collect the ongoing webcomics found on the site.

Urban Society of Aboriginal Youth
USAY has created a series of Blackfoot Graphic Novels that allow beginners to learn how to read and speak Blackfoot. The novels are created with fluent Blackfoot speakers and Indigenous artists.
